Radical Changes

I'm leaving the dayjob.

Still can't believe it myself, but come September, I'm taking up a funded PhD at Queen's University Belfast. The funding will allow me to dodge full-time employment for the next three years. After that... I don't know. Hoping I'll be making enough money writing and lecturing part-time by then. It's exciting and scary and exciting all at the same time. Mostly exciting.

The PhD is title Radical Crime Fiction. Yes, this is a dream come true.

I can't wait to get started.

Watch this space.

Congratulations, gb! That's amazing.

I recently quit the day job too, and though I don't have a clue what comes next, I am also in a good position to just enjoy the ride for awhile.
